VINTAGE 3-STORY WOODEN DOLLHOUSE, FURNITURE & PEOPLE MADE IN WEST GERMANY. This dollhouse is at least 50 years old & it, and the furniture came has a kit. They are stamped on the bottom "MADE IN WEST GERMANY". I was told the furniture is vintage DORA KUHN. Included in this lot: DOLLHOUSE: Swiss Chalet-styled dollhouse, it is comprised of 3 detachable tiers with front porch. It measures 25" H at the peak, 28 3/4" L & 13 1/2" W including porch. It has 5 rooms: 2 rooms on Ground floor 15" L & 13" L, 2 rooms on First floor 19" L & 8" L, & 1 Loft 28 3/4" L. - GROUND FLOOR: Both rooms have curtained window on side with red gingham curtains & shutters on outside. Walls are painted off-white & have green stenciling along the top. - FIRST FLOOR: Large room is similar to ground floor rooms. Smaller room has dark blue walls. It sits atop 1st tier & has 2 small blocks of wood to prevent it from sliding off. - LOFT: Consists of one large room. It has a house-shaped cut-out in front, bordered by red stenciling. It is in an unpainted, natural wood finish both inside & out. It is notched to fit into the 2nd tier. - GABLE is green with white stenciling. - ROOF is painted red. - PORCH: Is 2 3/4" wide & railing has extra parallel rail to accomodate window boxes. T are 2 clay boxes in place. Dollhouse is in very good, but played with condition. T's wear at one outside edge of the base & it might need some paint. Dark blue room does not appear to be original color. FURNITURE. All, but 3 pieces of the furniture came with the dollhouse originally. They are made of wood & are also in the German style of Folk painting. - MASTER BEDROOM: 2 beds - his & hers with bedding, wardrobe with working doors (stamped on bottom), 2 bedside tables & linen box. Blue with floral toll painting. Has small splinter off end of bed. - BATHROOM: bath (stamped on bottom), sink & toilet with lid. Blue with floral toll painting. Bath & sink might have had taps originally. - 2ND BEDROOM: bed, wardrobe with working doors (stamped on bottom), table & bench. Orange with floral toll painting. - KITCHEN: stove with hand-painted details, dry sink cupboard with working doors, China hutch with top that holds plates & bottom with working doors (stamped on bottom), table & 2 benches. Off-white with floral toll painting. The sink & top of benches are stained & will need repainted. - DINING ROOM: sideboard with shelf on top & working doors on bottom part (stamped on bottom), table, long bench & 2 chairs. Red with floral toll-painting. - MISC. FURNITURE: unusual tile-stove, rocking chair, decorated Christmas tree stamped LUNDBY on bottom, wicker stroller. POSEABLE DOLLS: - 3 NYLON MESH COVERED DOLLS: man & woman. Man is wearing a suit, vest & shoes. Woman has hair & wears white top, slacks, jacket & shoes. Baby has hair & wears blue outfit & red hat. Nylon covering man's face is torn exposing styrofoam form. Woman has some damage to forehead. - BOY & GIRL RUBBER DOLLS - STAMPED HONG KONG: boy wears brown shirt & green slacks. Girl wears red dress. Boy has small chunk off back of head. - 3 RUBBER WOMEN; identical dolls all wearing blue polka dots dresses. All these dolls are vintage & some of the clothing is stained.
