To put it mildly- this piece of work is simply beautiful. Not only is the frame stunning with all of its detailed carvings of leaves and other intricate designs, but the 20"x16" canvas inside features a spectacular charcoal painting of an old couple. Details of the painting are incredible. T are two names written on the back of the frame board which read "Leo Franklin Sprague and Martha Robbins Sprague." I'm assuming that these are the people portrayed in the picture. The frame itself is made of wood and has great circles carved into the sides next to all the leafy detail. It measures 29"x25.5" and still has the original glass inside. The frame seems to be in really great shape with only a couple of marks that need washing and a smidge of a chip on the wood. It's a pretty heavy piece so I believe that Fed Ex would probably be the most cost efficient way to mail this. This frame and portrait comes from a smoke free home.
