Vintage Wooden Picture Frame in Shape of Easel This unusual picture frame is made out of a beautifully grained light wood.On the front at the top, t is a pen drawing of a swallow holding a twig in its beak; in addition, t are additional details on the frame (leaves, etc.) done in ink. The frame measures almost 9 and a half inches tall by 5 and a fourth inches wide. The wooden "leg" portion of the easel on the back is attached to the frame with a small brass hinge at the top and an old purple ribbon at the bottom (attached with staples and tape). T are signs of loving use of the frame as it is in all original condition. When I purchased it many years ago, I was told it was made in Italy, but t are no marks to confirm this.I welcome any questions that you may have.Please visit my ebay store frequently at /davileenstreasuresandmore.
