This is a vintage child's chalk board. It is nice and sturdy and stands on it's own without any wobbling at all. The frame is wooden and painted blue and it does fold together for storage. There are paper flip up pictures at the top in good condition...there is some water staining mostly on one side and the top page is loose on the right side. The chalk board itself is not the slate, it is like a painted fiber board and is showing a little wear (pic). It folds down to make a little work table and has a metal bin for chalk or erasers. It measures 35.5 tall and is 18" wide. Hard to find these in this condition!
