For your consideration: A Primitive Antique Wood Firkin Open Sugar Salt Bucket with Antique Wood Bobbin. Both pieces have tight metal bands wrapped around for stability and strength. This little bucket probably had a wire handle at one time or rope to hold it by. It is made of wood slats held together by very thin metal bands. The bobbin that came with it is a very nice antique turned wood piece. Great little bucket. Solid and in nice shape for its vintage age. Missing rope or wire carrying handle but otherwise intact and original Usual signs of age and wear with minor scratches, scrapes and dings in the wood surface, but no major flaws, cracks or imperfections. This is a smaller size bucket, at about 7 1/4" across and just a bit less than 6" high, measured from the top of the handles. This little firkin/bucket is quite unique looking and genuinely old. It would be a very sweet addition to any primitive wooden wares collection, and the bobbin adds a nice touch to it. Thanks for looking!
