Vintage WW1 era Bentima Ancre Remontoir De Precision hunter pocket watch with a 5 year wear case which is now worn (see photos) but with no heavy scratches,the paper ? dial does show some age related wear,the hour figer is missing,the glass/perspex shows normal even age related even wear and would benefit a polish,the front cover hinge pin is broken with part of it still in the cover hinge and the body hinge sections,both the case hinge and cover hinge are in place so i think it will require a new hinge pin,the rear hinge is good and both rear covers close wellthe unpolished case crown and loop are in good age related condition and would polish up well. The watch is Notchy to wind and set,it sets with the aid of the pin set at the 2 oclock position,i have given the watch a few winds and it is ticking away strongly both face up and down with the minute finger moving,i have Not tested for timekeeping. It measures 52mms across the case excluding hinges crown and loop. Please study the many photos provided as they describe the pocket watch far better than i can,for any further information please e-mail. Worthy of a repare or just for spares !!!!
