Vintage WW2 US Army Signal Corp Telegraph Set TG-5A & CS-49-A Shoulder Case No Reserve Here is a VERY NICE old WW2 telegraph set from The US Army Signal Corp. Label says Signal Corps US Army Telegraph Set TG-5-A Designed at Signal Corp Laboratories Fort Monmouth New Jersey Serial #74 Order No. 6699-NY-41 Made By The Allen D. Cardwell Mfg. Corp. Brooklyn New York. Inside label has curcuit diagram which has some minor stains as shown in pictures. There is a red stamp that says SC 235 A. The only issue I can find is some dust and very minor grime. I took a slight damp Norwex rag and wiped a couple of spots and it came right off. Label would maybe even clean up great. Bakelite in Mint condition. Spring & Gap lever dont looked like there is any marking on bakelite back. If this was used at all it was extermely minor use. Hinge works excellent. Wire is in excellent pliable condition. Finger switch and mechanism are in excellent condition. This has a few 1941 date on this. Extermely MINOR scratches & and marks on outside of metal case. The CS-49-A is in very good condition with minor wear marks on leather bottom. Fabric adjustable strap is in excellent condition. Dont miss out on VERY NICE piece of war history.
