I acquired this nice old compass from a retired Navy Veteran. He said he removed it from an Australian life boat during WW2. On the brass surface it is marked "Sirius, No. 719, E. Esdaile, Sydney". The dial is marked "E. Esdaile & Sons, Sydney N.S.W.". It is a gimballed compass. The compass itself is 4 1/8" in diameter. Works great. I have it mounted on a 7" x 8" board. Good luck with your bidding. If you have any questins please email. Shipping rates quoted are for the U.S. All others please email for your rates. I do combine shipping.
