Vintage WWII German Metal Helmet with Liner. See Photos. This is an original WWII German Helmet that I purchased at an estate auction in Ohio. It is an authentic WWII Metal Helmet in good condition for its age/ It still has the Leather Liner. Helmet shows some signs of use, and a few small dings, but is generally in decent shape for a WWII helmet. On one side of the helmet t is a red, white and black decal. Inside it has a leather liner that is definitely worn, but still rather supple. It still has its chin strap. I do not see any labels or markings, sizes, etc. on any exposed parts. This is a hard to find helmet in good shape. T is a scratch across the red, white and black decal. I do not know much about these helmets so email me with any questions! Buyer to pay $10.00 priority shipping, plus $0.65 for delivery confirmation. We accept Paypal. Thanks!A knowledgeable eBAYER provided some more information about this helmet. It is a German WWII helmet, but was converted for use by the Germans from an ealier helmet: ---This is a WW-1 vintage model 1917 Austrian helmet. several variants such as the German 1916 and 1918 helmets were also converted by the Germans in the early 30s. The WW-2 style hemets were not made until the end of 1935.---
