P>This item includes: ONE VERY NICE VINTAGE MARBLES 6" " Doublt Hilt " FIXED BLADE KNIFE MADE BY MARBLES IN GLADSTONE MICH., U.S.A. * Overall length measures 10 " this is a post WWII weapon * Blade measures 6" inches with small 3 line stamp, with right facing serif on letter "A" & with tracks* Aluminum Butt Cap Pommel * 100% original and genuine with the legible Marbles stamp Condition: This a nice early WW II VINTAGE MARBLES 6" " Doublt Hilt " hunting, skinning & camp knife is in overall CLEAN condition! The blade has a brass double guard and has a thick back with tapering cutting edge. Its distinctive strong blade appears to be used and the blade has been sharpened by previous owner. The WW II VINTAGE Marble knife leather handle has a one rub-dimple-divet mark done by previous owner. Please see the photos for complete details. History: This old relic WW II Vintage MARBLES " 6" " Doublt Hilt " hunting knife model was introduced in late 1940's; continued in production until 19. The three line MARBLES stamp is deep & clear as on the tang side of the blade. This very popular sheath knife has an early WWII model blade with the long blood groove . This RARE find is used but not abused & would make a great addition to any collection!!! While t is some age staining &/or patina, t is no rust. This gives you a great opportunity to set the price on a fine all-purpose knife !
