What a treasure! This vintage ladies yoke, collar and sleeves are chock full of needlework...white with whitework, padded embroidery, cutwork, eyelets. The center is a work of art with its many embroidered layers forming a flower. There are also leaves and vines and eyelet flowers. All edges are scalloped, including the sleeve edges. My aerial picture shows the entire piece opened up. To use this, it would be folded longwise, and the sleeves would be stitched. The front and back pieces are just basted together, but the sleeve pieces are hand sewn. Circa early 1900s. Very good condition. US First Class shipping is $1.06.
