VINTAGE ZASSENHAUS SALT SHAKER & PEPPER MILL GRINDER SET EXCELLENT CONDITION This is a high quality vintage Zassenhaus pepper mill and salt shaker set. Both are made of wood and are in excellent condition without any cracks or damage. To the best of my knowledge, Zassebhaus is no longer making salt shaker pepper mill sets. I am listing this set at low start price and no reserve. The pepper mill has a steel mechanism that functions flawlessly and the fineness/coarseness of the ground pepper can be adjusted by a screw in the bottom. It has a brass band marked in German, English and French: Pfeffer Pepper Poivre . The crank is made of brass and has a wooden knob. The bottom is embossed: ZASSENHAUS and WESTGERMANY. The salt shaker has a brass band marked in German, English and French: Salz Salt Sel . The salt shaker is slightly darker than the pepper mill. The bottom is embossed: ZASSENHAUS and WEST-GERMANY. Weight and measurements: Pepper Mill: Weight is 6.75 ounces, unpacked. Diameter at the bottom is 2.3 inches. Total height to the top of the crank handle is 5.75 inches.
