What you see here is a vintage 13 inch Slingerland nickel over brass tom tom drum rim.

It is a six hole rim.

This is from the Radio King era, I believe.

Some rims on Radio Kings were inscribed, some were not. This one is not.

Though this one is not signed, I really think it is a Slingerland from the early 1950s.

It is what is known as a double flanged stick chopper rim.

The rim has a dent in the top edge where the drum was probably dropped at one time.

I tried to show that in one of the photos.

There are scratches in the finish, and it looks tired, as expected for the age of this part.
