What you see here is a vintage 13 inch Slingerland nickel over brass tom tom drum rim. It is a six hole rim. This is from the Radio King era, I believe. Some rims on Radio Kings were inscribed, some were not. This one is not. Though this one is not signed, I really think it is a Slingerland from the early 1950s. It is what is known as a double flanged stick chopper rim. The rim has a dent in the top edge where the drum was probably dropped at one time. I tried to show that in one of the photos. There are scratches in the finish, and it looks tired, as expected for the age of this part. If you have any more helpful info, I’d be glad to post it. We left any further cleaning to you.
