This is a ARCHER QUALITY 100 POULTRY FEED Red,Green and Yellow Flowers Print FeedSack. It still has the red and blue 10 inch wide Paper Band Label that reads the following: "BEMIS BAND-LABEL BAG PAT. APPLIED FOR ------------------ TO REMOVE BAND-LABEL & PRINTING SIMPLY SOAK IN WATER" Logo on the fabric, including the Robin Hood with drawn Bow and Arrow. The printing includes "MANUFACTURED BY ARCHER-DANIELS-MIDLAND CO. GENERAL OFFICES MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. The printed logo is water soluable-just soak fabric in warm water to remove. It still has the original twine cord string that bag is stiched with and bag measurments is 22x 38. When the stiching is pulled out and sack is open it will be 44 Inches wide by 38 long. The print is a bright and colorful cotton with a white background and flowers. It is a good, tight weave. Feed sack has never been used and has been packed away in box since 1939/1941. This feedsack may have some slight little small yellow-tan spotting, (not much on this one.) I think from age, that may or may not come off when it is washed.
