Vintage RARE American Character 15" Walking Sweet Sue Charles of the Ritz Chignon Doll This American Character Sweet Sue doll has the "A.C." on the back of her head. Flowers in hair are original to doll, wig does need some fixing up. Dress is in good (vintage) condition. Seams are solid, except for a spot on her right arm (see photo) and I could see no other tears or holes.. Dress could use a cleaning, there are a couple of small spots, one on the front and one on the back of dress. There is a gold thread in the design on the top of the dress. On the back of the dress the top snap has come off of part of the dress, They are the square type of snap. I have the case with the hairpiece. The cording has frayed, and fallen apart, but hairpiece is still in good condition. Shoes are missing. Nylons are in pretty good condition, but have some tears toward the top, and a small hole on each of the heels (see pictures). There are no tags on clothing. Eyes open and close easily. There is a small mark on the one lid. Face coloring is still very good. Arms are tight and work well, legs also work well, and walk. Head turns with walking. There is a slight crack on right shoulder. I have always kept doll upstairs in my house, not sure why the crack is there.
