PRICE REDUCED!!!!!!This is certainly one of the more unusual masks I've seen. This looks like it could be a blue and multicolored bull face, or even perhaps a devil with horns with a frog atop of his face. I am not sure of any kind of Mexican mythology involved. The horns I believe are genuine ram or sheep horns and are nailed somewhat loosely to the wood of the mask. Measurements are: 13" height including horns, 10 3/4" without. 10 1/2" width of horns, 6 3/4" of just the mask. The previous owner told me she purchased this mask in Mexico in the early 60's. It is carved from a single piece of wood, and t is a green string that goes around in front and under and through the horn bases. T is some considerable paint loss as noted in the photos, but it doesn't detract from the colorful whimsy of this piece of Mexican folk art. ******Please note that ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
