Wooden File Box From an estate sale - Great oak Globe-Wernicke recipe or file card box in excellent condition. Made of oak with dovetailed edges. Finish is beautiful and in excellent condition. Marked inside lid No. 83-C, Junior Tray. Outside label is pristine. Hinges are like new, perhaps still a bit stiff. Measures 4" tall, about 5 1/2" wide and 3" deep. Alphabetical file cards are included, however, they are yellowed and U-V-and W are other cards with letters written on. On the bottom written in pencil is 1.25, which I imagine is what it cost when purchased. Wonderful old box! Bid with confidence! I have over 2100 feedback with 100% positive.
