If you love blue and white transfer ware then you will love this. A super little vintage Gravy Boat / Sauce Boat by Myott, Staffordshire. The pattern is called 'The Hunter' - a Victorian Hunter returning home with his dog. Design is classical in shape, with a rectangular base and slightly balloon shaped body. Nice deep boat and shaped spout that channels the sauce/gravy where you want it. A roomy handle allows for ease of use. Very slight ribbed feel to the very top of the boat.Fully back stamped with the Myott and pattern name. Measurements are 7cms high. Height from base through spout is 9.5cms. Length is 14cms (not including handle).Condition is very good - it doesn't look as though this has ever been used. There are no cracks or crazing and colour and glaze are bright and clear. there is the very tiniest of chips to the handle but it's hardly worth a mention.I have been selling antiques and vintage items for over 20 years and have a real love for ceramics. You may like to have a look at some of my other items. This little piece was discovered at a recent large Estate sale that I attended. Thanks for Looking.
