Beautiful violin! Double perfling. High belly. Beautiful f-holes. The scroll only has one turn. This violin shows designs of a Maggini or other old great violin maker. I bought this violin a while back for over $450 hoping to convert it to an electric violin with my Zeta bridge. However, the belly was too high so the bridge was over-extended for me to feel comfortable. If you want to put a tailpiece and strings on it, there are some open seams. This is a great conversation piece, but I have no idea what it sound like. Selling As Is. If you are looking for a violin to put on the wall or have out as decoration, this is the violin for you. Great conversation piece.
