Extraordinary find from the estate of a pen collector: VISCONTI CARBON DREAM LIMITED EDITION FOUNTAIN PEN, with ORIGINAL CASE and INKWELL. The pen is a collaboration between Visconti and Carbon Dream, the renowned Italian maker of racing materials. For the first time in history the fine carbon fiber weaving has been cut into the characteristic design of the Ripple - Viscontis' iconic demonstrator. Transparent resin under the filigree lets you see the famous Visconti Double Reservoir Power Filler. All metal parts are turned on a lathe in grade 5 titanium. The nib is Visconti's flexible two-tone Dreamtouch 23K 950 palladium. Carbon Dream production has been limited to only 993 units worldwide. This pen has never been used: it still has the plastic sleeve packaging and the protective card slipped under the clip. The matching inkwell is still sealed with plastic, never opened. The heavy wooden case measures 10 1/2" x 6 3/4" x 3 1/2". Inside, the case is pristine but outside there are some light scratches that occurred while in storage (see photo.)
