A VISIT FROM ST. NICHOLAS(Twas the Night Before Christmas)by Clement C. Mooreilluminated by Mary C. Ogdenwas published by International Resourcing Services in 1995. With an introduction by Moore's great-great-great-grandson, this has glossing concerning the writing of the holiday poem along with text about Thomas Nash, the majority of pages devoted to the poem. Illuminations are by Moore's daughter, each page of the poem having leaf illustration and a small vignette picture at the top. Also is a facsimile of the original manuscript, vintage illustrations, and green decorations. The binding is read with gilt lettering at the front and spine. The dust jacket is lavender with a small sample of the illuminations. 6-1/2" x 8-3/4."Very good condition. Remnants of a label at the back dj.Thanks for looking!
