vntg GERSTNER 052 MAHOGANY Machinist Chest 11 drawer Description : This is the large 11 drawer original vintage Gerstner Machinist Chest in Mahogany. The drawer construction is fine and they work smoothly on this chest, but it is a good candidate for a complete restoration, and will make a great chest when restored. As can be seen in the pictures, t are several areas which need attention, but a good woodworker could easily address all the areas for work. T is also a repaired crack in the drop down front which can't bee seen, but since it runs along the grain, another easy fix for a good woodworker. The Mahogany 11 drawer Chest (M52) is very hard to find and very expensive if found in perfect condition. Since this needs some repair and restoration, is a good chance to get a rare chest at a great price. Put some sweat equity into this piece and you will be amply rewarded!
