Vintage Vogue Ginny from the Fairytale Lands series of the mid 60's. I am not sure which Fairytale doll she is but will look in the book tomorrow to see if I can see her. She is marked Ginny on her neck and Ginny Vogue Dolls Inc. on her back. Some of the letters in the mid section of her back are a bit faded to read but most are t She is a very clean doll although her outfit could use a gentle soaking to brighten up the white areas. I was afraid to do it for fear of the red parts fading but maybe it can be done carefully. The dress is structurally intact with no tears or wearing, just the surface soil on the white areas. Ginny's red Maryjane shoes are in excellent condition and say Ginny on the bottom. Her white socks are streched. Her panties are original and are not stretched. The Vogue tag on the inside of the dress has no fraying. Her hair has no missing plugs and appears to never have been combed or played with by a child. Two hatpins hold her hat in place. Ginny has a little pinkness on one forearm possibly from the way she was stored. She is still a very lovely 60's Ginny. Since photographing her I have misplaced or dropped the little stem of flowers she was carrying and if I cannot find it I will replace it with another. Thank you for looking.
