Beautiful coffee or tea set found at estate sale made by Vohenstrauss Johann Seltmann of Bavaria Germany. It is of delicate white porcelain, hand painted with butterflies in orange & pink, with marvelous gold trim!! Butterflies have intricate black detailing. All have a backstamp with a green crown, Bavaria, Vohenstrauss Johann Seltmann and Made in Germany but the layout of each backstamp is different so I included a photo of each. The coffee pot is lidded and 7 1/2" tall to the rim & 5" at its widest. The lidded sugar bowl is 2 3/4" to the rim and 2 5/8" across at the top. Creamer is 3 1/2" tall, 2 1/4" across the top and 3" at its widest. This set is in mint condition and I am guessing that it was displayed only and never used.
