Oldest Volkstedt porcelain lace lady figure at 11 1/2 inches tall & 8 inches wide in wonderful condition for her age with 1/4 of a pinkie finger missing and a repair to the ring finger next to it with some missing lace in the back of her dress and porcelain flowers added to the front of her dress w t was missing lace, none is detracting from the display of this very large older porcelain piece which is done in cream and pale purple which is quite lovely and appealing to the eye and she is impressive in person just for her size alone, Volkstedt is one of the finest quality porcelain makers and the detail taken to the figure is wonderful with individual painted hair strands and carved finger nails with a true to life face in make and colouring and pretty pale purple high heeled shoes on her ornately decorated base with a 24 karat gold ring, even with the apologies she is a fine display piece for any collector.
