High-quality 1:43rd resin model hand-crafted by SPA RK MODELS ..................................................... This is a beautifully detailed, hand-finished 1:43rd scale resin model of Nasser Al-Attiyah's, Red Bull sponsored, #306 VOLKSWAGEN Touareg that finished 2nd in the 2010 Dakar Rally . It is a Spark brand model, item #S0827 and is new in its original, unopened packaging. The model comes mounted on a painted wooden base with a clear, dust-proof acrylic display case. All Spark Models are hand-finished to an exceptionally high standard. The use of resin means that very fine detailing can be achieved, such as the precise lines between panels moulded into the body. Spark is also noted for their use of extremely thin plastic sheet for windscreens; accurate cockpit detailing; small, tubular alloy exhausts – rather than simply using solid round plastic; and intricate photo-etched metal components… all this adds up to a top quality scale model.
