--> Vollendorf Blades Stag Handle Brass Guard Sheath Knife--> This is a stag handle knife marked "Vollendorf Blades" on the left side of the blade. The knife has a brass guard and a stag handle with spacers in the front. It has a blade length of 5 inches, and an overall length of 9 & 3/4 inches. Held in the right hand, the stag handle is slightly curved, with the back of the handle going to the left. It feels great in either hand. I don't know anything about the knife maker, but this knife appears to be a very well made, quality custom knife. The accompanying leather sheath is not original to the knife, but was locally made for this knife.CONDITION: The knife blade looks good. Please note that there is some old pitting on the back of the blade on the left side, in the area of the maker's name. The stag handle is sound. NOTE - it looks like some sort of end cap was once part of the handle, but I think it's come off. The back end of the handle is flat.
