This is a TOP BOOST add on unit for the early JMI model VOX AC 30's.This is an aftermarket custom built unit can be attached to any of the 3channels although normally it is wired to the brilliant channel. These units were built as a great sounding reproduction of the units JMI actually sold for the early 1960 's non top boost models . We actually bought and installed these custom units for years during the nineties for many of the touring acts that were using non top boost AC 30's in the Nashville area. This unit was previosly installed in an amp but functions perfectly. We are also including a NOS Jan 12AX7 for the unit that we normally sell for $30.00. We would sell these units for $240.00 + tube installed in the 90's. I would STRONGLY suggest that you have this unit installed by a qualified repaiman. This is a great chance to pick up a great TOP BOOST Unit without spending a fortune!!!!!!!
