This is an unused Masterpiece Models resin model kitof the fictional nuclear submarine “Seaview,” from the Voyage to the Bottom ofthe Sea TV series. This quality kit was issued in approximately 2001, and currently is out of production. Model when completed is about 13” long. Assembly, sanding, and painting required (i.e., model glue, sand paper, and paint not included). Online reviews of this model can be found via a Google search. This model originally retailed for $49.99. I am a longtime genre collector, bought this for our eldest son when he was about 8, but we never got around to building it before he got interested in other hobbies. Everything is here, the kit sat untouched for 10+ years. Note: Small parts, not recommended for children under 5. Bonus items: an untouched set of Fred Barr’s Technical Manual and poster-sized blueprints. I am the process of downsizing, hoping to move in a couple of years. This would make a fun holiday present for any TV science fiction collector or model-making aficionado.
