No reserve on this beautiful faced 161/2" boy doll from the late 40's or early 50's. He is all hard plastic, jointed at the neck, shoulder, knee, and hip and is on a non working walker body. The body is marked Eegee but I don't believe it is on an eegee head at least I have not seen this doll in a book. The head looks like a Candy Kid head but being hard plastic, am not sure so cannot sell him as that. He can sit as well as stand. The face is flawless with great bright rosy cheeks and blood red mouth. He has blue working sleep eyes with all lashes intact and eyebrows are perfect. T is one very tiny spot (pin head size) up at the hair line on the right side. The molded painted hair has pretty curls and only a few paint spots missing. The body has some soil and a crack at the left jointed knee on the side. Have tried to show this in the nude picture but you really have to look closely. That leg is in tight but will go to the side slightly at times. Is hard to discribe. All fingers and toes are intact and no more cracks. He wears a wool like pair of overalls and matching hat, a striped dimity shirt, rayon socks and baby shoes. Even though this doll may be be a put together dollie, he still makes a wonderful display doll or would be good for parts. We are a non smoking home and he has no odors of any kind.
