Vintage Advertising Match Holder Wow! This auction is for a very rare and really nice vintage advertising match holder. The holder would have been mounted in a kitchen on the wall so that you had easy access to matches for lighting the stove and such. It holds a large box of matches and it has the original green enamel paint. On the front, it advertises Dr. Pepper Soda and it reads Drink Dr. Pepper – Good For Life – Drink a Bite To Eat – Keep Dr. Pepper In Your Home . The match holder was made in Fulton Illinois back in the 1920s, so this is a really nice, early piece and a VERY tough to find advertising piece – especially in this condition. In excellent condition with some minor paint wear. Measures about 6" tall and is guaranteed old and original! Bidder pays $4.50 for shipping and handling via USPS Mail within the United States. International bidders please email me for shipping cost if they are not disclosed in the above Shipping and Handling section. I charge a 5.1% sales tax to all Wisconsin residents - sorry, it's mandatory! ! Shipping rules : If you happen to win more than one auction and live in the United States I will GREATLY discount shipping. Obviously, the discount will depend on the weight of each individual item and the physical characteristics of the shipment. Discount will be determined once all auctions are closed, read more
