VTG 1930's-40's NWT FUN GREEN PRINT COTTON DRESS~50

This wonderful vintage dress dates from the 1930'S or 1940's. It is tagged a size 50. It is new, with tags attached The fabric is a fun green & white print with red & black club shapes. The material is cotton. it has a matching black belt with a cloth covered buckle. On the bodice & pockets is a swirling arrow applique trimmed with black. Opens down the front, to below the waist. Closes with 5 black, square plastic buttons. The sleeves are really just extensions of the bust & back fabric. Skirt is slightly full. Bust is darted upwards from the waist. Purchased new at Tersuhow's on Penn St. in Reading, Pa. Measurements were taken with the garment laying flat:Waist from side seam to side seam: 23 & 1/2"Bust from underarm seam to underarm seam: 26 & 3/4"Hip from side seam to side seam: 28"Sleeve from underarm: 0Shoulders across back: 19"Belt : 39 & 1/2" longLength from shoulder to hem: 47 & 1/2"It is in fantastic condition. No soil, stains, wear, or damage of any sort. I do see a manufacturing flaw on one of the appliques on the bust. A small section of the black fabric did not catch when stitched & it shows a raw edge. It has been lightly pressed, for photographing.
