vintage 1950s USAF N-3B flight jacket parka heavy hood medium stencil coyote furDescription 1950s vintage United States Air Force N-3B heavy hooded flight jacket with stenciled insignia on sleeve, manufactured by Southern Aviation Manufacturing. Coyote fur trim around hood. Size medium, chest measures 50" taken flat.Condition - please see all 24 photos. There is soiling, and wear. The hood fur will need to be replaced - it's shot and I will not sugar-coat that fact. I have made no attempts to clean the jacket in any way - as found barn-rescued (truly) condition.Missing one front button; all Crown zippers, working; pocket linings are surprisingly clean.My current two flight jacket listings are from the same estate. After his service, this gentleman farmed and ranched in central Montana. I am quite certain he would have continued to use both of these parkas to stay warm while working the long and cold winter months.
