This print is of a musical note with four "flags" representing the four Beatles. Lennon's ''flag" was the first to fall from this musical note. Lovely, thoughtful symbolism from the Des Moines Register's Pulitzer Prize-winning editorial cartoonist Frank Miller. Dated 12-11-80, a few days after Lennon's death. Please see all photos for details using the magnifier. There is some light glare on the photos. I didn't see any spots on the print, just some slight darkening of the print, and the spots were on the top of the glass frame. This is a cheap, throwaway frame, but the print itself is worthy of new matting and framing. Not sure how many of these would have been printed and sold... Not something you see everyday though. I did not take it apart so I don't know if there are any print numbers or not. The frame measures 12x14-3/4" and the print is behind a 8x11" mat. Please let us know if you have any questions! Winning bidder may opt to have this shipped without the frame. (Contact me and allow me to invoice you the revised cost with lower shipping.)
