I Will be listing a very nice assortment of vintage and antique hats from a couple recent estate purchases. All fresh to the market.Up for auction is an original antique/vintage Wekony "The Hatter" black wool homburg edge fedora dating from the 1930's. Very high quality and made well. Marked by the maker on the inside of the leather headband and also has the size tag. There is another paper label under the inner headband as seen in the photos. No other maker names. Stated size is a mens 7 3/8. Has a black grosgrain outer headband and edge. In very nice condition for its age. No holes, no tears, no fading, no discoloring, no repairs and no creases or folds. The inner leather headband has a seam split and some loose edge seams and can easily be restitched or worn as is. No moth holes or bites. Grosgrain edge is nice with light wear from age. Overall a really nice vintage hat with a wonderful look. Measures approx. 22 1/2" around the inner headband, 6 3/4" across the opening from side to side and 8" from back to front. Crown measures approx. 5 3/4" tall. Rare item and is a must for any collector. Fresh from a 90 year estate collection and is fresh to the market.
