Vintage circa 1930s 40s tortoiseshell bakelite framed sunglasses. Rich tortoiseshell frames with greyish glass tinted lenses. Pin hinges- see notes below*. This style comes up smaller by design. *The arms are held in place with wire pins which are bent around the front of the frame to hold them in place. See photos. This looks to be a period repair. They are still useable for occasional use like this and therefore we'll leave it up to the buyer as to whether they get the pin hinges replaced. The frames are in good order with minor signs of wear, some surface marks here and there. The low start price reflects these points. Across the front, side to side is 5 1/4" Each lens section including the frame is 1 7/8" tall by 2" wide The arms are in total 6" long *No case but be assured that we pack our glasses very well for despatch. *These are vintage sunglasses- very wearable and in good vintage condition- but if you're looking for something crispy new or perhaps new to vintage then these will probably not be right for you and you're better off on the High Street. *~ All sales final, no buy it now, Paypal only, sorry no collections.
