Vintage 48" Long Venetian Millefiori Petite Glass Beads Necklace, Murano, Italian This is a beautiful 48" flapper length necklace of Venetian Millefiori art glass beads that is from a closed out business inventory--beads are estimated to be from the 1970's to the 80's. The necklace has been in storage and not previously worn. These are quality Murano, Italy millefiori beads that have been finished where the murrines meet so that they are perfectly smooth. The colors are rich and the beads have an especially nice glossy finish. The necklace is strung on red / amber bead cords, knotted in between beads and is ready to wear and enjoy. The necklace in the photograph is the one you will receive. • The necklace measures end to end including the clasp about 48" long. It is long enough to wear doubled and possibly tripled. The small sized oval beads measure about 6mm's wide by 9mm's long. • The necklace has a total of 109 millefiori beads--it has a nice substantial weight and feel and weighs about 54.7 grams. • MORE DETAILS & CONDITION: excellent vintage condition, unused. I see no damaged beads--the colors are rich and the beads are smooth and shiny.
