VINTAGE STERLING NORWEGIAN SOLJE BUNAD PIN . Solje pins are traditionally worn on a bunad. Each is marked on the backs. The shimmery dangles are teardrop and flower shaped, are plain silver (NO gold wash or gilt). Very old style curled hook clasp. Elvik Company in Oslo, Norway - Solje wedding pin Marked 830S and makers mark on the back - looks like an E with a cloud around it - post 1950s Nice large size , quality craftsmanship 2-1/2" long including dangles Measures 1-3/8" across Nice condition Vintage and antique items generally show wear commensurate with age but I will endeavor to point out any major flaws, if any.
