Offered here is an Oliver No. 9 Standard Visible Writer Typewriter. These were manufactured during the early 1900's. The keys all seem to work as do the shift keys. The carriage rolls up, but does not seem to move left when you are typing. This is a beautiful piece, please see photos, and will make a great addition to any collection. The Oliver Typewriter Company was an American typewriter manufacturer headquartered in Chicago. The Oliver Typewriter was the first effective "visible print" typewriter, meaning text was visible to the typist as it was entered.PLEASE NOTE ITEM(S) PICTURED ARE THE ACTUAL ITEM AND/OR ITEMS YOU ARE BIDDING ON.PLEASE ASK ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING.
