Spalding vintage suspension used helmet. Great shape. New condition - but 50 years of dust and a few storage marks. You know how to clean it up and remove the marks. I do too - but hey, how are you going to gain any knowledge unless you do the work. 2 bar mask. Here's the thing. These masks are like egg shells. They are brittle and break easily. They are not a carrying handle. Most of them that we have listed over the years have had broken masks. Other broke during shipping. We wrap them like fine china, however just a bump or an ass-hat from UPS/USPS that throws stuff will break them. You are buying the helmet with the understanding that it probably will not make it to you in one piece. Some times we get lucky - however if it makes it, consider it your lucky day and a bonus. No guarantee. Everything else about these helmets is great. Padding is tight and secured well. Helmet will shine when you clean it up. They have never been outside or in the sun. Great looking display helmet. Will look great on a shelf with the suspension rivets, and front bumper as used on NFL helmets of the 1960s. Awesome.We are always looking to swap or trade helmets.
