Up for bid is an Excellent pair of Vintage Atari collectible items: I obtained both of these items from a local estate sale. The first item is a Centipede button commemorating the launch of the Centipede game in 1980. It measures just under 3" in diameter and the condition is near mint. Here is some more info from Wikipedia: Centipede is a vertically-oriented shoot 'em up arcade game produced by Atari, Inc. in 1980. The game was designed by Ed Logg along with Dona Bailey , one of the few female game programmers in the industry at this time. It was also the first arcade coin-operated game to have a significant female player base. The player defends against swarms of insects, completing a round after eliminating the centipede that winds down the playing field. The second item is a patch commemorating Atari's official sponsorship of the 1984 Summer Olympics held in Los Angeles, CA, USA. The condition is excellent and it does not appear if it was ever used but simply part one someone's collection. Measures 2 7/8" by 2 1/8".
