Today, I am going to be listing several nice lots of various jewelry, flatware ( some sterling), historical collectibles and cookbooks, all belonging to my grandparents. Most of these lots date from the late Victorian through mid 20th century time period. This lot is for 17 vintage bracelets, all from my grandmother's collection. The five narrow bracelets in the center back of the group pic are almost certainly Bakelite. I have not done the test, but they have the right look/ feel. Probably meant to be worn together. The four green bracelets in the foreground are not Bakelite- later plastic. The two large bangles are unmarked, gold tone- with some wear and discoloration, hinged, assuming the color is lucite or another similar plastic. The two smaller gold tone bracelets have painted coloration. The snake is missing his eye, but it a really cool vintage piece. The two strung bracelets are fabulous, particularly the carved one- which is either ivory or some sort of bone. These should probably be re-strung if they are to be worn much as the fabric string is very old and could snap. Last, is the faux pearly beaded piece- assembled on a wire base. The lot need cleaning and all of these pieces have been worn, but all in all a really nice vintage lot!No returns on my grandmother's lots unless there is a substantial misrepresentation. If there read more
