Sterling silver bead and wires highlight rich orange jade jadeite earrings made c. 1980s. Two sided drop shape with off center hole. Lines (e.g. dentals) radiate from points around the hole on one side, around the edge, to the hole on the other side. Pendant held by wrapped wire topped by a bead; jade is not drilled. Stone was verified on an electronic Presidium Gem Tester. Overall, orange and translucent, but with areas of more opaque white and spots of black. Nicely shaped ear wires marked 925. For pierced ears. Total length is 2" of which jade is 1" long. Total weight 9-10 grams. Previously owned earrings show age and use in patina on the silver. Wear them as is for a vintage look, or carefully polish them bright for the look of new. There are tiny chips along the radiating lines either from when the earrings were carved or through use.
