Listing this really cute, vintage ceramic pair of Christmas Mice salt & pepper shakers. Each one has this cute red/white night cap on, turquoise bead sparking eyes and each is 4" tall. I do not know who the maker is on these but possibly could be Japan, but not 100% sure so please use your own judgment/expertise. There are some "oops" on the painting on these especially the salt mouse shaker. He has some blue paint on his cheek probably from his eyes and I just noticed that he is missing 1 of the turquoise beads on his eye. It also looks like a little chip on the bottom of his right foot (looking at it). Also, on his nightcap, it looks like some of the red paint may have chipped off the ball as well as 1 of the red stripes. I did feel it and not really sure if it was a missed paint issue or is a chip. On the pepper shaker, it looks like some excess ceramic material right under his nose (see last picture). This one is also missing the stopper. Even with the little flaws here and there, there are a cute pair of mice and would be a great addition to one's collection.Please feelfree to contact me with any questions.
