This charming set of children's breakfast dishes is marked in a red stamp GERMANY..and has the cutest transferware picture of a fox terrier? or fox hound? or jack russell terrier? The artist may have taken some liberties or the dog may have looked different 100 years ago. The set is in good condition with some small imperfections on the bowl...but no major hairlines , chips, or cracks. Have fun bidding and if you know what the dog's breed is ..I'd really love to know. So far the consensus is that the doggy is a smooth coated fox terrier..very popular in the 1930's and I believe that is the age of this set.
