A very rare old LONG necklace of superb blood orange authentic old Neiger scarab beads with Pharaoh cartouche. What is of particular note is the condition of these beads, Scarabs and Pharaoh cartouche. All of the beads still have most of their wash colour in the indentations - most unusual. These lovely old Neiger beads are on original yellow stringing that has begun to come undone. � As you can see in the photos, the necklace is not quite wearable right now, as is, there is one loose bead that will come along with it. I would suggest a competent restringing of these lovely beads. Do enlarge the photos to see the original details clearly. The beads themselves are in very good original condition with minimal loss of the colour in the indentations. The Pharaoh cartouche has minor flea biting to both lower corners, only visible upon close scrutiny. This will be a fantastic piece once restrung!!!! The necklace measures 33 inches in length with the scarab beads measuring just over 1/2 an inch in length and the Pharaoh cartouche is 2" long, total pharaoh with scarab and two beads is 3" for a total length of 36" !! It is hard to find such rare old Neiger Egyptian revival necklaces with beads in such good condition.
