I have been collecting vintage sterling charms for a while now. I've decided to downsize and keep only enough to make a couple bracelets, well maybe three... I will be listing charms from my personal collection periodically. This auction is for a vintage English silver mechanical charm of the "Bloody Tower of London." The Tower of London was built around 1078 by William the Conqueror. The Tower is said to be haunted by Anne Boleyn, Sir Walter Raleigh, and others who met an untimely death inside the castle walls. This English charm captures the historical architectural design of the medieval castle. The walls look to be built from stone blocks, and t are several open windows on the sides. "Bloody Tower" is engraved on the front of the tower. The charm is hinged and opens to reveal an execution taking place. The executioner is stepping forward with axe in hand to behead the condemned person lying across the executioner's block. The bottom has beautiful scrolls and is marked SILVER. The charm measures approximately 5/8" x 1/4" x 5/8" and has a warm patina. Thanks for looking! I will gladly combine shipping for multiple charms won. I charge a flat $3 for shipping. That cost includes little boxes and bubble envelopes that I buy to protect the charms during shipping. For additional charms purchased, t is no additional shipping costs read more
