Wow, this a fabulous beautiful green double guilloche enamel compact. The compact is marked STERLING SILVER, 935, MADE IN AUSTRIA. The compact is in absolute excellent condition with no chips or enamel loss. Beautiful french figural scene of a couple in beautiful clothing (the woman's dress is very low cut), with a sheep and dog. Beautiful filigree work on front (little flowers), done in silver. The green enamel on the front is also guilloche. Compact has a definite french look to it. The hinge and clasp are excellent. The beveled mirror is cloudy, but is not chipped or cracked. The compact measures just under 2.25". The back is a gorgeous green guilloche pinwheel pattern. Very, very minor surface scratches on back, just from being placed down. You have to hold the compact at an angle to see them. Does not detract at all from compact. You would not be at all disappointed with this stunning compact. It is absolutely gorgeous.
