~Vintage Handmade Baby Patchwork Quilt~Gingham Check~Pink/Blue~ Wonderful heirloom baby patchwork quilt! Done in gingham check fabric. Hand stitched!!! I don't know the age of this one but I found it among many other wonderful baby clothing items and blankets from the 1930's. It does need to be laundered, I thought it best to leave that up to the new owner. Keep in mind, it has been stored in a trunk for many many years, so it does have a faint odor. There are some yellow/orange storage spots throughout the blanket, mostly on the back. One brown stain on the front about the size of a quarter. These may come out or at least lighten up with a good soak. There are a few other flaws that need to be mentioned: Some of the filling has bunched up in places, there are a few seams that need restitched. One seam across the back almost 3" long also needs to be restitched. I took a-lot of photos for you to see just how wonderful it is. What a nice item to add to your vintage quilt collection!
