~OLD VINTAGE HAZEL ATLAS 30s PINK DEPRESSION GLASS ROLLED RIM LARGE MIXING BOWL~ For your viewing pleasure is an uncommon Large Hazel Atlas Rolled Rim Ribbed pink Depression Glass mixing bowl from the 1930s. The company was started by the merger of The Atlas Company and Hazel Glass Company in 1902 in Wheeling, West Virginia. The company was bought out by the Continental Can Company in1956. The bowl is 4 inches tall and 9 5/8 inches across. There are no cracks, chips, or breaks. There are Manufacturing Defects from the glass making process such as: air bubbles, bubble bursts, straw marks, roll marks, swirl marks. These were common in glass making of this era. There is one flea bite to one of the ribs and there are light usage marks and wear marks on the outside bottom from age and use. This vintage bowl is in very good condition for its age and usage. This bowl would make a nice display piece for the kitchen or to complete your nesting set. Please READ our Feed Back! After your item ships. We have a FEDEX account too & can send larger packages with them quite reasonably. If the USPS seems high just ask for a quote at auction end.....we will be glad to make a comparison. FEDEX offers home delivery after 5pm. ***Please note that when a FLAT RATE shipping fee is offered we can’t ship to a PO Box. Also, Domestic Flat Rates apply only to the Continental U.S. (No Alaska or Hawaii)*** If your item is damaged in transit you must notify us within 36 hours of delivery. Keep all original packaging materials, box, & item. Do not throw anything away. We will be very happy to work with you through the claim process. In over 10 years of being on eBay we have had only two items ever reported damaged & that was due to carrier abuse. Currently we only accept electronic Items are shipped within two business days of completed payment (often cases sooner).
